“LETTERS TO THE DEVIL IN US AND OTHER SELF-APPEASING EXERCISES (Volume I) collects journal-like thoughts that were vested in musical attire (www.meiraaz.com and online music platforms) sown, ripen and harvested as a human does his journey of valleys, peaks, misunderstandings, acceptance and confirmation of where are the ever changing boundaries of its own personal, finite universe. Love (a lot of it!), loneliness, redemption, social critic, conquest, forbearance. There is no specific order in the curation of these texts. They have been published as singles but also in the 2018 album “VISCUS”. The periodic table of elements that shape our material form also give way to the quantum structure of our consciousness... mine, here reflected... There isn’t more romantic notion than acknowledging that when the embers of our disappearance subside, we will become again stardust... reincorporated in an infinitely enduring, self sustaining system in a, yes!, infinite (to our knowledge) Universe. But... how to hold it here, in this ephemeral time and space?
