Former University of Florida golfer Chris DiMarco opened up a four shot lead through the first two rounds on a day Jack Nicklaus announced his likely retirement from competitive golf at the Masters. ROUND THREE. Seven Consecutive Birdies Pushes Woods Into The Lead. Three--time champion Tiger Woods made nine third--round birdies, including a record--tying seven in a row, to grab a three--stoke lead over a suddenly struggling Chris DiMarco. ROUND FOUR. Tiger's Fourth Green Jacket Still Fits Him Comfortably. A 15--foot birdie putt on the first extra hole helps Woods tie Arnold Palmer for the second most Masters titles in Tournament history.
